文化融入是最艰难的部分，尤其是撞到语言梗的时候。

第一次跟advisor聊天，那个精力旺盛受人尊敬的老头John Verret，就给了我一个典型的美国场景。

Really nice and kind. Talked about his childhood, his understanding, lend magazines, even a personal tour around the COM.

但最后一句话的梗我始终留在那里，

当我感谢他的kind，并且告诉他在国内高校老师和学生官本位的态度的时候，他告诉我，

It’s different. You r my client.

瞬间就联想到了那串学费，不知道该说什么好。

Everyone is nice, and the motivation is tooo clear?

我还是不大明白，在美国，人和人之间是怎么联系的？

if individual is the most important thing, then what’s the most important link between people?
